July 31st was a special day for us as we celebrated the opening of our newest building at Hudome Way! Alongside our team, we were honored to host some esteemed guests for our ribbon-cutting ceremony. This gathering was not only to celebrate the great work put into creating the new facility, but to celebrate all of the additional jobs and opportunities it is bringing to our community.

This new facility is a key part of our Phase II expansion plan, bringing us the ability to take on larger innovative projects for our clients. Margaret Shaia, ASC CEO, says, “We’ve really grown the infrastructure of this business and grown our engineering and production staff to make this happen. I look forward to the future and I really appreciate everything that the city of Virginia Beach has done to help support us in this growth.”

We were honored to hear from Virginia Beach Mayor, Bobby Dyer, at the ceremony, who shared how our expansion “is a great example of the overall strength of our manufacturing cluster in our area” – and we couldn’t agree more. His presence, along with many other community leaders, emphasized the support the Virginia Beach community continually provides ASC.

Thank you to everyone who attended the ceremony and all who helped ASC make this next step. We are excited to provide more opportunities for the welders, electricians, sheetmetal mechanics, and support techs in our community and have the expanded ability to provide more innovative options and ideas for our customers.
