All night shift employees receive a 15% pay differential.

Welding Career Paths at ASC

Welder I

  • Perfect for those newer to the trade.
  • 1-3 years of welding experience required.
  • MIG Welding Certification preferred, TIG Welding Certification a plus.
  • Vocational training or welding school experience a plus.

Welder II

  • For experienced welders ready to take on advanced projects.
  • Additional responsibilities, leadership opportunities, and higher pay.
  • 3-5 years' experience, or demonstrated proficiency required.
  • MIG Welding Certification Required, TIG Welding Certification and Flux-Core a plus.

Welder III

  • For expert welders who deliver precision, leadership, and advanced fabrication capabilities.
  • Requires strong attention to detail and understanding of technical drawings and welding standards
  • 3-5 years of welding and metal fitting experience required.
  • MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding Certification required.
